An estate agent works on behalf of a property owner looking to sell or lease their property. As agents we shall offer our expertise of the market and knowledge on pricing to ensure that you get good returns on your property, negotiate on your behalf and ensure that all paperwork is completed in a professional manner.
We also act on behalf of those looking to buy or sell the property. We will be the intermediary between you and the seller or landlord. We shall walk with you through the acquisition process to ensure that you do not lose your hard-earned cash to dishonest people. We shall also negotiate on your behalf and ensure that you get the best possible price.
Our fees are governed by the Estate Agents Act Cap 533. Residential properties we charge 1 month’s rent plus VAT at the applicable rate.
Commercial properties rates will be negotiable as per the scale fees of Estate Agents Act cap 533 for the sole agency the rate is 7.5% of the annual gross rent.
The sale commission is governed by the scale of fees as per the Estate Agents Act Cap 533.
For the 1st Kshs. 100,000.00 at 10%. The next Kshs. 900,000.00 at 6%.
The residual is at 3%.
Our commission is guided by the Estate Agents Act Cap 533.
